One of the largest and most profitable online casinos in the world, Bet365 offers just about every type of wager you could possibly want. The site was first launched in 2001, making it one of the oldest continually operating online casinos. The company's main stock-in-trade is sports betting, where they are known for being an industry pioneer, but their virtual gaming floor has a little something for every taste.
Available Games and Software
Bet365 has about 300 slots in total; it's tricky to keep track of their ongoing removals and additions as unfortunately, the site does not have the best sort and search interface around. The progressive jackpot games are at least nicely situated in their own section, however, and there are 19 in total.
Table game options are a bit thin, but you'll find one variety each of blackjack, baccarat and roulette. The site also features regular bingo games.
Bet365 also has an "arcade" section, but there are no games of skill populating it just yet. It inexplicably only contains keno and Hi-Lo as of the time of this writing.
Bet365 does not do live dealer games, but they do have a live poker section that can be accessed either through an app or through your web browser.
Where Bet365 really shines is in the sports book. The live "in play" feature (allowing for the creation of live wagers as games are taking place and betting markets) has been adopted by a number of the other big names in the industry due to its popularity. Bet365 is still the category leader with the lowest lag time in updates (generally less than two seconds.) It's also the main stomping ground for sports bettors who like to engage in arbitrage due to the ability to be able to quickly lock in a price on pending wagers.
Deposit and Withdrawal Options
Bet365 withdrawal and deposit options vary by country, but UK residents enjoy the largest range of options. The usual range of credit card and e-wallet options are available, but Bet365 is one of a relative few to support personal checks (along with the usual cashier's checks and money orders).
Safety and Security
Bet365 is licensed in Gibraltar and overseen by the UK Gambling Commission. Disputes are handled by the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS), a reputable third party adjudication firm.
Bonuses and Player's Club
Bet365 offers a tiered VIP loyalty scheme. All wagers on any game type earn you comp points, which can be initially be cashed in for £1 of free play per every 100 points. As you move up the tier system (from Bronze to Silver to Gold), fewer comp points are required per £1 (85 at Silver and 75 at Gold). You also get one-time "milestone bonuses" of free play for reaching each tier; £200 for Silver and £700 for Gold.
Do note that you have to make a deposit at least once every 13 weeks to maintain your comp point balance, however.
Is Bet365 Worth It?
The sophistication of the interface and overall game count lags behind similar big-name betting sites, but Bet365 has never really been all about the casino floor. The focus has always firmly been on sports betting with them, and for that purpose it's can't-miss as one of the biggest, best and most advanced wagering sites out there.
